Beth Ferreira, C’96, WG’04 – General Partner, Serena Ventures
Beth Ferreira opened the day with insights on the evolving investment landscape and the role of societal and technological shifts in shaping market opportunities. Drawing from her experiences at FirstMark Capital, WME Ventures, and as an early executive at Etsy, Beth shared invaluable lessons on navigating the complexities of venture capital.
This conversation was moderated by Ann Gehan, e-commerce and retail reporter for The Information.




Andrea Finan – Managing Director, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management
Andrea Finan took the stage in the afternoon, sharing her expertise on digital investing and the future of wealth management. As the head of Self-Directed Investing at J.P. Morgan, Andrea spoke about building for long-term success and empowering individuals to enhance their financial futures.
This engaging keynote was moderated by Rochelle Dubrovsky, WG’25, co-president of Wharton Women in Investing.




Daphne Tong, W’04 – Partner & Co-Head of Investments, WestCap
Closing the conference, Daphne Tong, reflected on her journey from Goldman Sachs and Blackstone to leading investments at WestCap. She provided valuable perspectives on private equity, co-investments, and the evolving dynamics of global financial markets.
This discussion was moderated by Allie Haldeman, vice president of WestCap.




Deep Dives into Finance and Investing

Throughout the day, attendees participated in engaging breakout sessions. These discussions showcased the expertise of investing industry leaders and highlighted today’s opportunities within the investment industry.
A standout session, The Evolution of Private Equity, was moderated by Professor Burcu Esmer, academic director of the Harris Family Alternative Investments Program. The discussion explored how private equity is adapting to changing market dynamics, the role of technology, and navigating today’s economic landscape. Panelists included Allison Beller, W’03 (Prelude Growth Partners), Andrea De Leon, C’09 (TPG), Lizzie Wintle, WG’18 (GTCR), and Natasha Kingshott (American Securities).
